Golden State Warrior Case Study

As a longtime Golden State Warriors fanatic, I am ecstatic to see that the organization is offering members of Warrior Nation the opportunity to join the team as a part of its summer internship program. I was personally encouraged to apply by personal mentor and former 2013 summer Digital Marketing Intern, Mr. Benjamin Trinh. Over the past several years I have seen the Golden State Warriors, through a lot of hard work, grow from being the pride of Northern California into being the model organization in the league. It is this same diligence and passion which embodies who I am and pushes me to continuously grow as an individual.

After speaking with Ben, I extensively reviewed the online application. From your online information, it's clear

Wow…nicely done Mr. Tammlin! I appreciate how your essay easily flows; laying out specific details for the reader to understand what is going on with the Chicago Bulls. Recalling the golden years with the “1990s dynasty led by Michael Jordan” paints the picture of yester year and follows with the current issues. You don’t lay down a whiney story of blame, but evenly present the groundwork for the dismissal of both Paxson and Forman.…

Are the Falcons overrated? Entering the 2015 season, the Falcons fans had lofty expectancies for the team to go on to the Super Bowl. However, those expectancies were impractical, considering some of the major unsorted complications. When they had only 6 regular season matches left, Atlanta was at 6-4, a record entirely inconsistent with very naïve expectancies. A precise examination of the Falcons’ record last season reveals how overrated they were.…

The (2-8) Los Angeles Lakers are in the valley of the sun, Phoenix, Arizona, to battle the (5-4) Suns. The Lakers, led by an all-around effort by Kobe Bryant, Jordan Clarkson and a defense that held the Detroit Pistons to 37-percent shooting from the field helped the purple and gold notch their second win of the season and first home win of the 2015-16 season. While in Phoenix, time permitting, the Lakers could view Camelback Mountain, for a challenging hike on Cholla trail, also a visit to see the preserved Victorian-style homes in Heritage Square. While there visit Pizzeria Bianco- that serves pizza that a New York Times Food Critic called the best pizza in the country or an excellent Mexican dinner at Barrio Café or dine at the El Chorro Lodge.…

The Golden State Warriors are really, really good at basketball. After taking the league by storm last season en route to an NBA Championship, the Warriors have begun their title defense by completely rewriting the record books. Stephen Curry has become a one-man glitch in the Matrix, but that's not all the Dubs have to offer. Under Steve Kerr and his coaching staff, including current interim head coach Luke Walton, the Warriors have used their ridiculous assemblage of talent to steamroll the rest of the league. In the process, they've helped to redefine how basketball is played in the NBA.…

3 ways Paul Millsap improves the Nuggets For as beautiful as the city of Denver can be, big name free-agents have avoided playing basketball in the Rocky Mountains as much as you or I avoid going to the dentist. The Nuggets made progress in reversing that trend last week, as power forward Paul Millsap, agreed to terms on a 3-year, 90-million-dollar contract that has a club option on the third year. It marks a change in the philosophy of the Denver front office that recently has seen them try to develop a homegrown nucleus built around the draft.…

When Kobe Bryant said he would forgo college and take his talents to the NBA the journey to greatness began. I think this is the only thing I didn't enjoy about Kobe Bryant's career when he was drafted 13th overall to the Charlotte Hornets then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. One can only imagine what would've happened to the legend of Hornets basketball if that move was never made, but I digress it's fun to dream. He quickly became a Hollywood star transforming the Lakers organization once again. He helped the NBA transition from the tail end of Michael Jordan's career to the Kobe era and realize they would be just fine.…

The Golden State Killer was a prolific news story and spree during the late 1970s to 1980s, also known as the East Area Rapist in his earlier days of crime. There were many speculations on how he could fall between the cracks of over 50 rapes and 12 murders all in a decade and suddenly disappear off the face of the earth. However, it took over forty years to find any sort of lead in the story of the Golden State Killer, really by a stroke of chance by the police force investigating the case. Who would have thought to look for a website that you can upload your DNA to find matches of family and lost realities to suspect and notorious criminals?…

The dust has settled, and the Cleveland Cavaliers organization is in a period of reflection and projection. This past Tuesday, the Cavs wrapped-up a whirlwind season that ended with a heartbreaking loss to the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals. No, Cleveland didn’t achieve its ultimate goal of winning the city its first championship in more than 50 years, but the monumental growth the team experienced was an ancillary prize. “We went through an awful lot of growing pains this year, and the process was long and arduous until we sort of found our stride and got our roster to where we wanted to,” Cavs head coach David Blatt said. With sky-high expectations placed upon them, the Cavs started the season scurrying on the NBA floor.…
