Some include “Judge not, that you be not judged,” Matthew 7:1, “But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,” 1 Peter 3:15 and “And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, ‘Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her,” John 8:7. Remembering that we all have need of a Savior will allow a teacher’s spirit to learn to be patient, loving, and kind. Jesus was surrounded with multitudes of people. Sinners, religious folks, those who gave up all to follow him, healthy people, very sick people, and many more, surrounded him. Jesus treated all those with love. He even changed how he treated some.
