It was a morning like any other, I woke up and looked out my window to see the old rusted piece of metal some like to call the Golden Gate Bridge. I always woke up at 6:30 sharp to make sure I had enough time to read over the papers that were due in a few short hours. As I carry along with my morning routine I realize today was partner day in biology, the day I dreaded most in the semester, mostly because my partner usually makes me do most of the work and the parts they do,they mess it up. After doing everything I needed to do ,including mourning, I headed to school. I go to a school called OakWood High where you supposedly were weren't judged, but every "nerd" knew that was a lie. this couldn’t be true it was just too good to be true. i went up to the teacher after the class ended
“Umm excuse me miss, there must be a mix-up with the partner system i don’t believe me and mattie belong together”
“ oh Jessica there was no mix up i just picked randomly he is a nice boy don’t worry he wouldn’t hurt you or anything” and all i could think about after that was only if she new what he did to me how his charms masked his brutal personality.
For the rest of the day classes went slower than usual and i couldn’t focus in any of them, but luckily school was done for the day and it was time to go home. As i went over to my locker i tripped over something and landed face first, and when i looked back all i saw was a size 14 Converse that i knew belonged to the one and only Mattie O’Ryan
“hey nerd, we need to talk about this partner thing for biology so get over here”
“o-ok’’ i said
As i stood there in front of his large figure, it felt like hours before he finally spoke
“ 5:30 your place we will do the project got it”
“y-yes”i said my voice shaking with fear
“ yes what?” he said sounding
