The Golden Gate Bridge considered as an internationally acknowledged symbol of United Sates, California and San Francisco, is 1 mile wide and 3 mile long. Located between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay in San Francisco; it is undoubtedly the most photographed bridge of all time. It is suspended at a height of 4,200 feet. The Golden Gate Bridge was opened in 1937 and remained the longest suspension bridge till 1964. This marvel of architecture links north tip of San Francisco to Marin Country. Hence, bridging the California State Route 1 and U.S. Route 101 across the passage.
