A superfood is food that is beneficial to your health and well-being. There is a recent trend towards positive nutrition; this has lead consumers to superfoods. I chose to report on goji berries and will address, the history of the food, the nutrition, and the science behind them.

The goji berry originated in china, which produces them daily. It has multiple health benefits but aside from that it’s used to add flavour to several dishes. The perennial plant is 3m tall and the berries are bright red or orange with a depth of about 2 cm. The claims are that they help boost your vision, boost your immune system, speed up weight loss, and much more.

So far there is insufficient evidence to rate effectiveness for goji berries. The research is funded
