Not saying you can’t succeed in the future without college, I’m saying it would be a lot easier than not going and trying to start a career. At least that’s what I think, I’m only 14 in high school and obviously I haven’t been college or had paying job, but I conversate with a lot of teachers and family members to know how life without college would be. I’ve always been a firm believer that college is what you make out of it. Me being 18 and just starting college I finally see how the world really is, it’s as if a cup of hot water had been thrown in my direction randomly, in other words I wasn’t ready. High school was a cake walk for everyone including myself simply because there wasn’t a huge amount of money over your head after you got your diploma. Just the thought of having a debt makes me cringe and it pushes me to use the time and the opportunity I have much smarter. College is one big investment in yourself and it makes me believe that I can accomplish more than I thought I could just a few months ago.…

For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of enjoying the college atmosphere. While attending Ooltewah High School, I realized that my education in both school, and the Word of God, will help me further pursue my dreams. Where others see the work and stressful nights, and homework as a chore, I only see excitement. Even as a child, I constantly sought it out, first looking up different schools, then seeking different majors, then later in person appearing in every campus open house I could find. College in all its forms fascinated me, but schools that brought me closer to the Lord were in a category all to themselves.…

Being sixteen in college is difficult for anyone, but for someone with the mental age of a four year old things tend to get a lot harder.
