Intro
Nowadays it is expected of students getting out of highschool to then attend college. However, a survey by Edward Jones shows hat 83 percent of people say they can not afford the risk of going to college.
In the recent years the prices of being able to go to college have raised substaintly. This has caused college to not seem like the expected step anymore, but rather a unaffordable step.
The government and even college should lower the cost of college to end the financial burden of college to ensure a better education for all.

A few states have proposed a law that might be the new solution.
Oregon, Ohio, and New Jersey have all created a law for the students. This law makes it so the kids will not see a bill upfront anymore. Instead, the students in public schools would give up three percent of their income to help fund the schools (Kingkade).
This solution is a start to students being able to afford college and being able to recieve a higher education.
Numerous people have the mindset that even though college is a great opportunity, that they will never be able to afford it. We need to change this mindset.
