We had just arrived at our high school and we were all exited, it was our last day, it was graduation day. Who knew what our future had stored for us, the joy and excitement overwhelmed us. I was ready to attend UTI and become a master mechanic. I started to day dream while they were giving our graduation speech. Thinking about working on cars and being able to learn how they work and how to properly fix them made me anxious and ready to get to college. As I walked down that stage and shook and posed with the district president, seeing my family and friends cheering brought a joy that no words could explain. I finally finished high school. As I was getting ready to move to Houston and start a new chapter of my life, reality kicked in. …show more content…
It was fascinating how you can start with a simple square and make an electrical outlet or whatever you could possibly think of. But as the years passed by and my circumstances changed I knew I needed to get a better education. When you have an idea yet lack the knowledge of how to complete and make that dream a reality, that dream remains a dream. Going to college will give me those skills that I need. My journey so far hasn’t been easy but not unpleasant. I can’t remember all the bad things that have happened to me but I sure remember all the great and unforgettable moments in my life. I have accomplished a lot for my young age and ill like to keep moving forward. I have a scary and unforeseen journey in front of me, but that’s ok. That’s the greatness and beauty of life, youll never knows until you try it. Even though I have a while until I reach my goal I’m exited and confident I will accomplish my dreams. How can I be so sure? It’s simple, I want it. I have done so many unselfish deeds to help others by helping them reach their goals and dreams. It’s time for me to become a little selfish and focus on my dream. I lost an opportunity once but I wouldn’t say it was a lost cause.
