Gogo Simo band is a seven-piece band formed in the year 2002 in Mombasa by James Jozee then later moved to Nairobi and has graced some of the biggest Music festivals in its extensive and productive tenure.

Gogo Simo is a Swahili word for an African game similar to hide and seek. Their music is originally African and is inspired by a blend of rhythmic genres, including classic jazz, chakacha, mdundiko, and zouk.
