The main antagonist and Arch Enemy of Godzilla was King Ghidorah. Godzilla also danced, flew, and slid on his tail during this period. In this period Godzilla also had a lot of monsters from other Toho movies. In most of the movies Godzilla defended the Earth from invading Monsters and Aliens. Toho rebooted Series in 1984 with the movie Return of Godzilla, which started the Heisei period.
