Gods Vs Greek Creation Myths

The two chosen myths represented are the Greek and Egyptian creation myths. The Greek Creation myths is represented by the earth, and the sky as the earth Goddess, Gaia was created from the raging chaos that existed before the beginning of time. She gave birth to Uranus, the king of the sky. They became the first husband and wife. The underworld is represented because Gaia and Uranus bore many children, but they were monsters with 100 arms and one eyed creatures called Cyclops (University of Phoenix,,1995-2020).These monsters were like giants. Uranus feared the monsters, although they were his children and he sent them under the earth later called the underworld. The elements in this world were birth, supreme beings such as Gods and Goddess. There were also heroes, prophecies and magic along with human interaction with the Gods that at times consisted of disobeying the Gods (www.dept.cs.williams.edu, 2016). Kronos, the father of Zeus and Zeus were both creators were Kronos was the creator of the Golden men and Zeus was the creator of the Silver, Bronze and heroic men and the women of today. The primary creator of the Greek creation; however, was Gaia a female there were also men creators (University of Phoenix,,1995-2020).The significance of the gender is that a woman first gave life to a male creator and that was the foundation that allowed the other Greek creators to exist.
