Religion is different beliefs that is believed by most people, and to them it’s their way of understanding the world. All kinds of people have different reasons of why they choose religion or not. In our everyday life we experience tests or an obstacle that makes us doubt our religion, but that doesn’t mean we go and abandon it. In Christianity we will be tempted every second in our life by the devil to see how strong is our belief in Christ. The two stories “God’s Not Dead 2” and “Salvation” are about two different people who fight or leave their beliefs according to their surroundings. They’re both relate in their religion conflicts and how they choose to defend it.

Ms. Wesley’s lawyer told her if she apologizes to the parents and the school she will not be sued but she answered “I rather stand with god and be judged by the world, than stand with the world and be judged by god.” Ms. Wesley choose to defend her beliefs rather than leaving it because she is being put in a hard situation, such as the boy Langston in the story Salvation. In the story “Salvation” a young boy named Langston has been taken to church by his aunt to be saved by God that’s what she told him. Langston was so excited to see god and be saved by him as he was told by his aunt. His aunt Reed said to Langston,” if he sees a light that means Jesus has come to his life.” While Langston was sitting on the bench listening to what the persist was saying during the revival some kids were moved by his words, and went to the alter to be saved. Langston and his friend Westley were the only one left that haven’t been saved. Langston didn’t move because he was waiting to see Jesus, but Westley had no purpose of waiting.
