Zeus
Zeus was the god of the sky, and ruler of all kings. He was called the God of all natural phenomena. Hera was his wife, Cronus was his father, and Hades and Poseidon were his brothers. His symbol is the lightning bolt. One myth about Zeus was that when he commanded he would wreak havoc by unleashing mighty thunders and would flash bolts of lightning.
Poseidon
Poseidon was the protector of all aquatic creatures, and was the god of the sea. Cronus was his father, and Zeus and Hades were his brothers. Also, he was married to Amphitrite. His symbol is the trident and the myth says that he could create earthquakes, makes the Earth shake, and shatter any object.
Hades
Hades had two brothers, Zeus and Poseidon, and his father was Cronus. He married Persephone. He was the ruler of death, the underworld, and soon became the God of wealth. His weapon, or …show more content…
She was raised by two titans, not Gods. She is the Goddess of childbirth, marriage, and was the supreme goddess. Hera didn't have a symbol, but she has sacred animals, the cow and peacock. Legend says that she gathered people to go against Zeus, so she drugged him, then bound him to the couch.
Demeter
Demeter was the daughter of Cronus and Rhea, and she was the mother of Persephone. She was the Goddess of harvest, crops, grain, and agriculture. Her symbol is the first loaf of bread. One myth about her was every time Persephone had to go live in the underworld for four months, she created winter, where she would stop the grow of all crops, until her daughter returned to her.
Aphrodite
Aphrodite was the goddess of desire, beauty, and love. Her symbol was the magical gertle, that made everyone desire her. Aphrodite was married to Hephaestus, but had an affair with her brother, Ares. The Myth about her was that when her husband, Hephaestus, found out about her affair, he humiliated her and her new lover.
