He is not a distant Creator. If you are not aware of the hand of God moving around you, then you have chosen not to see it. I have been physically healed of a menstrual issue. Eric and I have been without money to buy food, having eaten too little for a week, and to the point I was considering stealing food from the church pantry because I was so hungry, when a church member unknowingly gave us an entire pot of beans and ground beef that feed us until our next paycheck. Every time our bills are tight, the Lord sends money from somewhere. Why? Because when I married Eric, I made the commitment to entrust my finances to Him. I took Him at His promise to provide my cloths, food, and everyday needs (Matthew 6:25-34). To my astonishment, He has done so, and in ways that there is no explanation other than His movement. When I was uncertain about a career, I prayed for only one school to offer my a position; God went so far as to not have any of the other schools return my calls!
