The term “Biblical Inerrancy” was conceived and coined back in 1978 at an International Summit Conference led by evangelical leaders and scholars. The reason why that would be foolish is because the cost of following Jesus Christ of Nazarene is an ongoing active choice to be and do like him. Nowhere in scripture does Jesus contradict the Old Testament and the New Testament. He does, however, announce the shortcomings of the scripture found in his current day and age. Scripture is fulfilled in Christ Jesus and he is the supplier throughout the majority of the New Testament. For an example, Noah’s flood is a very controversial topic that goes right along with theistic evolution. A Lot of scientists disprove the earth was flooded by God and they have a hard time believing the whole concept that Noah was able to build such a detailed ark. Another common denial is the accommodation theory. This one is also very popular in today 's age because people often tend to adjust and adapt scripture to their own liking. They examine scripture and take it apart to their own pleasing. These two denials can easily be dismissed and discredited because Christ did not distinguish fable from the fact (he would have if they were fable) and he also saw scripture as the final and absolute authority. He even goes as far as to correcting the mistakes and errors of his contemporaries, but never with
