I absolutely loved observing the gobstoppers in water and how the colors created defined sections and eventually mixed in with the other colored gobstoppers. In this activity, the greatest breakthrough I had was our class discussion about accommodating the lesson for students who may have learning/behavior disabilities, vision or hearing impairments, or other forms of disabilities. A kindergarten physical science standard covers the topic of objects being sorted and described by their properties, such as color. Going into a kindergarten classroom this semester, I think the students would love observing and predicting what is going to happen with the colors and the gobstoppers themselves and would enjoy explaining what they see happening to
