Dreams can inspire you, but goals can change your life. Sometimes it only takes one step to change a dream into a goal. Yet, it can take years to take that goal to the finish line.

I believe that everyone should have a goal in life, something to live up to; it is something you want to achieve in life, it is something that gives you motivation. Many people may have a goal in life to own their very own business. In the book ‘of Mice and Men’ George and Lennie’s dream to own a farm and have all sorts of animals and crops seemed unachievable and very far-fetched, but later on in the book their dream has turned into a goal they will have the money to purchase the farm in a month’s time. This is a good example of the difference between a dream and a goal.

My role model is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson he is one of the most motivational people in the world, he relates back to “1995. $7 bucks in my pocket. I knew two things: I’m broke as hell and one day I won’t be and one day I won’t be” from this time in 1995 he has had motivation; he had a dream, a goal to defeat poverty. Now look at him in May 2016 his net worth was $256 million! This just goes to show that with motivation, hope and a goal you can go anywhere, it can take you from $7 dollars to $256 million dollars. Even today he continues to motivate the world with his charismatic personality, and eloquent
