(For example, I want to focus on how I deal with incidents of misbehavior in the classroom. I will create a list of incidents to help organize my thoughts. The estimated time required for this step is one hour.)
2. Create a teacher diary
(The purpose of the diary is to record my feelings about what occurred in my classroom each day. For instance, I can record what happened during a lesson or write about my own reactions to it. All this information will be used to reflect on my teaching. Writing a diary entry is a continuous process of self-reflection, so there is no estimated time for this step.)
3. Peer observation
(I plan to have a colleague visit my classroom to observe a lesson. For instance, I may ask him to focus on specific behaviors that occur throughout a lesson.
