How can we be successful? How can we increase our success to the point where our lives are easier? When do we start being successful in life? Where do we actually begin to become successful in life? To start off as a successful person we got to at least know what we’re gonna do in life. Well let’s start off from the top, we gotta at least know what career we really want. Then from going down to choosing our university or what college to go to. Then when to register for our university or college we have to choose our majors and what we're trying to succeed in. Then from there we have to finish high school but not with just decent grades, to become successful universities would want top of the line grades. Marita was a young girl who went through a program called KIPP that made her successful in life. Even though she was a low income student, she took a path where it lead her to her road of success. She would compare her school with other schools such as the high income ones and that have students that have a higher education. When she compares her school to the other schools, she talks about how they are a lot more successful such as finishing their school with good grades and having a good a career after they graduate their school. While she explains all this she still finishes her school but she finshes her school with good grades and she's a low income student. She was a college graduate who’s program called KIPP which helps low income students help them go to their path of success. There’s also a story that is similar to Marita’s Bargain which helps students go to the path of success. They are both similar stories one of them is a non fiction story which can actually tell us how the program actually helped out the …show more content…
When success is shown at a young age for example like the marshmallow experiment, kids needed to be taught patience. Basically the marshmallow was a test for them of success. The ones that completed that objective became successful in life. The other video shows them still but now they are all grown up and finishing a high class university. While finishing that or graduating from a good school, success just doesn’t stop there, you have to keep going to know what type of success lies ahead in the future.
