Go Cart Research Paper

The Go Cart program at Food City (FC) is a program where people can order their groceries online then a professional shopper picks the order for the customer and will notify them when it is ready to be picked up. Many of the customers and others are not aware of the full process that goes into getting them their groceries. There are many pieces you need to be successful in Go Cart and that includes having a good system that is run through Go Cart, having a way from communication with the customers and lastly having professional shoppers that can be efficient at their job. The first thing is the customer picks out their groceries online and as soon as they submit it the professional shoppers get an alert on the Go Cart phone with they can carry with them all the time. When the customer is about five minutes away they send a text to the professional shopper letting them know they are five minutes away, and at this point the professional shopper gathers the customers items and begins to take them up front to meet the customer at the curbside. The last step before giving the customer their items we take the payment for the order is it wasn’t payed for online as soon as we have received the payment we begin to put the items into the customers car and they are ready to leave after that. The process for Go Cart is complicated if you have not been trained to do it before but if you follow this you should be able to work an order for a customer. Nevertheless, Go Cart helps so many people that have to work all day, people that want to spend more time with their family and elders that are not able to get out to get groceries.
