When it comes to the topic of GMOs, most of us readily agree that it’s a debatable topic. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of whether GMOs are safe to eat. Whereas some are convinced that GMOs are safe and offer many benefits in foods such as corn and soybeans, while others maintain that the unnatural process of how GMOs are created may cause cancer. Those unfamiliar with this school of thought may be interested to know that it basically boils down to how we look at GMOs. Though I concede that GMOs are harmful to humans, animals and the environment, I still insist that GMOs offer benefits as well.
