-Genetically modified organisms occurs when the organisms DNA is altered in an unnatural way. Using gene technology, genetic engineering allowing certain genes to be transferred from one organism to another (“Q&A: genetically modified food”).

-Do we really know what we are eating? Do we were know what kinds of food we putting into our bodies and how safe they really are?
-Genetically modified foods are some of the food common foods on the market today. These are foods that been modified and there genetic material has been changed in a way that does not occur naturally. With the hope to make food crops stay fresher, last longer and grow bigger (Bradshaw).

The GMO foods also affect their immune system, infertility, caused disorders and problems with aging (Leroy). -An experiment was even done with rats where they were put on a long term diet of GMO foods and the rats ended up suffering from being overweight. In addition, they suffered from internal damages like tumours (Leroy). -Also with the rise of genetically modified foods comes with the rise of pesticides used on the foods giving humans a higher intake of chemicals.
