One of the strengths of my research project in meeting the aims or hypothesis is that it enabled me to make the overall analysis clear. This is because while setting targets at the beginning of the research project, it had given me an idea on what ideas or things to look for in order to support the hypothesis. As a result, it helped to increase the validity and reliability of the investigation. Another strength of meeting the aims or hypothesis of the research project is that it helped to make the audience clear about what to expect from the research project. They might have had thought as a waste of time. Therefore, it was hard to persuade the teenagers to actually be serious and give their viewpoints on teenage smoking in the form of questionnaire. Another weakness was that while in meeting the aims and the hypothesis can be time-consuming and complicated at times due to carrying out the overall research which would involve not only, it was time-consuming because I had to carry out the survey as well as analyse the participants’ viewpoints.
In relation to my research project of smoking n teenagers, it did meet the aims and objectives that I had set at the beginning of the investigation. By doing the survey suing questionnaires with those 20 participants, I was able to create awareness amongst those teenagers who smoked by helping them to gain knowledge about the consequences of …show more content…
My hypothesis was how the three influences which were influences from parents, peers and depression and social anxiety would make teenagers to start smoking. While carrying out the investigation, I did not find rates that were extremely high to support those influences causing teenagers to smoke. However, among those three influences, the only influence that had high rates then the rest was influence from peers. The rest two of the influences in which the participants were influenced by parents and depression, it showed extremely low rates which did not really support my
