Gluten is the protein that can be found in grains like wheat, rye and barley, and also in ketchup and ice cream. This is the component that makes the bread fluffy and chewy and is like a glue that bind the food molecules. To balance this shortfall of nutrients, it is necessary to eat other healthy grains, vegetables, beans, and fruits.
However, the debate over whether having gluten-free diet is healthy or it can have negative consequences is still on.
