Today more people identify as feminists than ever before. From celebrities to average girls to men, numerous activists claim Ms. Steinem to be the source of their empowerment. Her permanent smudges and fingerprints on the pristine glass of modern-day society have re-molded the old-fashioned ideals of yesteryear into the basic intersectional human rights of tomorrow, and we’re still taking time into creating an equal future for all. Life for females has changed noticeably over the years, at home, work, school, etcetera, and American culture has certainly reformed. The ideal image of women has been altered from the very feminism Steinem also partakes in the ways such as body shaming and various on-going stereotypes, for just a few examples. Now, the average woman can strut through her own life with over double the amount of confidence a lady could not even a hundred years ago in every and any aspect. Steinem has eternally awoke the Women’s Movement and nations all over the world with modern dreams which were once a fantasy only a hundred years
