These actions even though the conditions may be harsh for the people do have positive sides to them. The ships themselves play an important part in the lives of many people, not only do the owners of the cargo make a profit, but the workers do as well. Bangladesh has no iron ore sources or mines which is why they have a demand for 500,000 tons of steel and metals. Ship breaking supplies the country with sixty percent of its raw materials for the local steel industries. In a couple of ways, taking into consideration the breaking of ships can may even be called “green industry”. Recycling, reusing, and reselling many if not all parts of the ship just happens to be one of those ways. The raw materials from the ships go to steel mills, steel plate manufacturing, providing furniture, batteries and many more useful household items used in an everyday home. The rising matter known as CO2 intensifies the climbing temperatures of Earth’s exterior and is the major leading cause of the so called “Global Warming Effect”. An idea proposed in order to help the effects to the globes warming temperatures is to exchange and recycle conventional sources with alternative ones that have comparable or better performance, but do not emit carbon dioxide. Once the year 2050 decides to shine upon us, roughly one-third of the earth’s energy will have to be from alternative energy who says? British Petroleum and Royal Dutch Shell, which happen to be two of our planets’ largest oil companies. Climate change, population growth, and fossil fuel depletion mean that renewables will need to play a bigger role in the future causing it to be an even more difficult task in sustaining the prosperous ways of life we life today. Alternative energy concerns energy sources that have result in no seriously damaging repercussions, for example fossil fuels or nuclear energy. Alternative energy sources are renewable and are thought to be "free" energy sources. They all have lower carbon emissions, compared to original sources used before as well as now. These include Biomass Energy, Wind Energy, Solar Energy, Geothermal Energy, Hydroelectric Energy sources. Incorporated with the three
