Global warming could possibly be the end of planet earth. This effect has significantly changed the world as we know it. The earth’s average temperature has been slowly increasing over the last century, and this effect has destroyed many natural wonders. Many people refuse to believe that the earth is changing, but scientists have proven that the human race is to blame for this sudden effect on our planet. The human race releases gases into the air that drastically changes our atmosphere. Although the earth does release gases into the air that causes similar effects, global warming is increased due to burning of fossil fuels, destruction of rainforests, and burning gasoline that releases carbon dioxide.
The process of burning fossil fuels releases the dangerous chemical CO2 into our atmosphere. One very well-known example of a fossil fuels is coal. Burning fuel such as coal release a chemical has the potential to eat away at the ozone layer. This chemical has been destroying the ozone layer, and therefore allowing ultraviolet rays to make their way through the ozone layer and this greatly affects the natural inhabitants of earth. The release of CO2 also greatly aids in the greenhouse effect. Live science explain the greenhouse effect like this, “Incoming UV radiation easily passes through the glass walls of a greenhouse and is absorbed by the plants and hard surfaces inside. Weaker IR radiation, however, has difficulty passing through the glass walls and is trapped inside,…
