The Global Warming Scam

In the past few years, global warming has been one of the most talked about subjects by the United States Government. Some Scientists say how bad it is and that we need to find an alternative power source to fossil fuels. Actually, global warming is a scam! “There are tens of thousands of well-educated, mainstream scientists who do not agree that global warming is occurring at all. In fact, there hasn’t been any Global Warming since 1997. If nothing changes by next year, highschool graduates will have never seen global warming “(Hawkins). In other words, the temperature of the planet has essentially been flat for 17 years. The Earth’s climate may be changing but it is part of the normal cycle. The Earth’s temperature is constantly changing, getting warmer, the cooling down again. Temperatures have dropped steadily from the late 1940s to the late 1970s. The popular press was even talking about a coming ice age (Ferrara). It’s a scam to get their buddies in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) more money from the taxpayers. Our government is trying to convince American citizens that global warming is real. Our president is even going as far as blaming global warming for terrorism. President Obama even

It affects American consumers who are buying cars. Consumers who want to buy cars are now spending more money to do so. Our government is trying to tell us what kind of cars we can drive in an effort to stop global warming. The government is pushing smaller more fuel efficient vehicles. Not all Americans have families that will fit in a small car. Some of these families need bigger vehicles to transport their family. Global warming is causing gas prices to increase. “Concerns about global warming lead to regulations to reduce greenhouse emissions from cars. As producers spend more money producing lower-carbon fuels they pass the expense onto customers”

To reduce the use of fossil fuels, we must convince US Congress to reduce co2 emissions by converting to renewable energy sources in our industries. Yet, our government continues to dismiss the existence of global warming. Speaking of government attitudes concerning this topic, President Trump proclaims in a tweet that we, "could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming." In response to recent cold fronts in the US.…

“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.” - Robert Swan. As Swan said, global warming has always been identified as an issue, but no one has really done anything about it. Global warming is an issue that is often overlooked when observing modern day politics. It may seem like no one on planet earth cares, but a some people actually do, one of them being Al Gore.…

Imagine a barren wasteland, incapable of supporting the growth of any form of life and overpopulated with more people than it could sustain: this is the future of the earth. But, this is not just another scene from a sci-fi film of a population that has expedited their vital resources, but the reality for the “over 7 billion people” who populate the home we call earth (Hardaway 4). A considerable amount of blame is placed on global warming which is an “increase in the temperature of the lower atmosphere“; however, global warming has not garnered enough acceptance from some political officials and skeptics due to the term’s ambiguity (“global warming”). Global warming is often confused with climate change and although these terms sound alike…

The Liberal Hoax Climate Change: A long-term change in the Earth’s climate, especially a change due to an increase in the average atmospheric temperature. It is largely due to the increasing amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere. Ever since the industrial revolution, it has been a rapidly growing issue. More recently, however, certain groups of people have begun to deny this scientifically proven phenomenon. In fact, in 2015, Donald Trump, who now is the President of the United States of America has stated, “I’m not a believer in man-made global warming.”…

Katherine Hayhoe’s YouTube series, “Global Weirding”, is a series that touches on the common myths and misconceptions people have on global warming. Her introductory video begins with her explaining that you don’t have to be a green wearing, granola eating, liberal to care about the earth and its climate. In fact, she is a Canadian who is a Christian and she very much cares about the climate change. Scientists have been studying climate change since 1820, almost 200 years now. And it has been 50 years since scientists first warned the current president of the time the affects climate change could have.…

Global warming is a serious problem, and it’s just that; a global issue. We have to make sure that we catch up with the rest of the world, because the fate of the world literally hangs in the balance of this. Our world is the only one we have, and Al Gore’s documentary proves so much of this. He’s proven that the planet’s CO2 emissions are rising. He’s proven that the atmosphere is deteriorating.…

"Estimated 40 Percent of Scientists Doubt Manmade Global Warming." National Association of Scholars, 3 Jan. 2011, www.nas.org/articles/Estimated_40_Percent_of_Scientists_Doubt_Manmade_Global_Warming. This article is about S. Fred Singer, who is a leading skeptic of anthropocentric global warming and the founder of the Science and Environmental Policy Project, which is an organization that challenged the findings of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Singer believes that global warming is just another scientific controversy and he hopes that the public will realize it as well. He also believes that if his findings are proven to be right, then the public policies being discussed are "pointless, hugely expensive, and wasteful of resources that could be better applied to real societal problems". He also believes that while global warming does exist, human contributions are minimal, and we would even benefit from temperatures rising.…

President Donald Trump has been very clear in his belief that climate change is not a threat to this country or the world. President Trump has been quoted saying, “the concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make the U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.” It is clear that his argument has much to do with the financial and economic state of the country, like what was explained in the previous paragraph. The unfortunate thing is that he never backs his claims with any scientific evidence against climate change. The reason for that is because there isn’t much evidence available to defend his claims.…

Debating whether global warming is real or not is like debating if the sky is blue. It’s a completely rhetorical argument. People, however, like the Koke brothers, Paul Ryan, Ted Cruz and any company or individual who profit from our use of fossil fuels and actively choose to deny scientific facts regarding global warming are the reason we are in grave danger of destroying our planet and should ultimately be held fully responsible. From 2003 to 2010, one hundred and forty foundations funneled over $558 million dollars to climate denial organizations. "The climate change countermovement has had a real political and ecological…

It seems you cant swing a stick without hitting a global warming activist these days. Now, when I first started reading about this phenomenon, I was pretty skeptical. The first thing indicating global warming, is that it’s actually getting warmer. Scientists from NORA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) have stated that: For most of the past 10,000 years, global average temperature has remained relatively stable and low compared to earlier hothouse conditions in our planet 's history. Now, temperature is among the highest experienced not only in the “recent” past—the past 11,000 years or so, during which modern human civilization developed—but also probably for a much longer period. (Scott, “What’s the hottest Earth has been…

Global warming has changed climate a lot since when I was younger. Right now it is December 18th and we have no snow. I think this is the first winter that we have had no snow; usually there is so much that we are having storm days at school. I heard on the news that we are predicted to not have very much snow this year and have a very hot summer because global warming has affected the climate so much.…
