I. Need (problem) Global Warming A. What is Global Warming? 1. The increase in the Earth’s average temperature due to rising levels of greenhouse gases. (NASA.gov) 2. Global Warming refers to climate change, which is a long-term change in the Earth’s climate, or a region located on Earth. (NASA.gov) B. What are causes of Global Warming? 1. Out of gasses such as carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor, carbon-dioxide emitted by humans is one of the greenhouse gases most responsible for Global Warming. (National Geographic) 2. Most CO2 emitted/ pollution come from the combustion of fossil fuels from cars, factories, and electricity production. (National Geographic) 3. Common acts like; turning on the light, watching TV, using hair dryers, riding a car, using an air condition, and even playing video games release greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere.
