For decades now a major political and scientific topic has been climate change.
The EPA defines climate change as “any significant change in the measures of climate lasting for an extended period of time. In other words, climate change includes major changes in temperature, precipitation, or wind patterns, among other effects, that occur over several decades or longer (EPA).” We know that we are experiencing a climate change right now because the climate has been rising for about 200 years now. Which is considered an extended period of time. Sometimes climate change is known as global warming. Along with scientist for human caused climate change, there are well respected scientists out there who believe that climate change is not a human caused problem but merely a natural process.
