In 1896, it was discovered that carbon dioxide played a role in keeping the earth warm by a Swedish chemist called Svante Arrhenius. In 1950’s, a U.S. scientist named Charles Keeling did an experiment by setting up stations at the South Pole and Mauna Los, Hawaii that measured carbon dioxide concentrations and his results showed that the carbon dioxide concentration have steadily rose. By 2007, IPCC was 90 percent sure that humans were the cause of global warming. Present: In the last past century climates have been rising slowly which glaciers have been melting slowly. Now In this present time in the year 2014 ice have melted in Greenland which is causing reindeers and boulder-moving storms. The melting in Greenland is causing the sea level to rise higher and higher. Running away global warming can’t be stopped if it’s developing in all nations, we the nations in the present time, we need realistic options to keep global warming but also we need to find ways to avoid it. Mountains of ice are melting but we don’t need to panic, we the people have a chance to respond and other things that we need to avoid is all lakes, streams, rivers, and oceans cause now they are having a toxic boom which could affect us
