People have had an effect on the climate and habitat of Alaska. The climate in Alaska has been affected by global warming and climate change (Arctic). Global warming is when the climate in a cold area becomes warmer. Climate change is very similar but the climate can change to any different temperatures, not just when it gets warmer in a cold area. Global warming is usually caused by greenhouse gases. Greenhouse gases are caused by human actions and pollution (Science in Context). This quote shows that greenhouse gases have been higher lately, which causes more global warming:
