Pathos helps me appeal to the environmentalists using a source that talks about tragic effects that global warming had been causing on humans. Human health is affected by global warming causing the earth to become warmer causing a rise in disease. Brenda M. Afzal states, “as temperatures rise we can expect to see a rise in vector-transmitted diseases, such as malaria, West Nile Virus, and Dengue Fever”(2). This source will help me appeal to the environmentalists emotional side by talking about how global warming is affecting humans health. This article provides a brief overview of global warming and climate changes, discusses effects of climate change on human health, considers the factors which contribute to climate changes, and reviews individual and collective efforts related to reducing global warming.
