Greenhouse effect occurs when visible light from the sun is given to the earth, this visible light coming in passes through the atmospheric layers to warm up the earth. This warming of the planet is reflected back in longer wavelength known as infrared radiation. Although it is radiated back into space some of this radiation does not pass the atmosphere and is radiated back. This is a natural effect but as more greenhouse gasses are put out by humans through the burning of fossil fuels and clear cutting forest the higher the temperatures will rise in the future. This effect known as global warming mostly caused by human effects has experienced a major growth. Our actions are affecting ecosystems worldwide by emission of carbon dioxide and clear cutting forest we are coming to a near end; although it 's denied by many this might be the end of it all.
Water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide, ozone, and carbon dioxide are examples of greenhouse gasses. Carbon dioxide is one of which has the highest human output. The burning of fossil fuels such as oil, coal, and natural gas are high in carbon and when burned they output high amounts of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Personal vehicles have a high effect in global warming, a study shows that personal vehicles account for one fifth of all U.S. emissions now accounted this is only for the U.S. world emission (UCS 2016). One gallon of gas used by your car accounts for 24 pounds of carbon dioxide alongside other greenhouse gasses.…
