In Genesis God gave humans dominion over the earth, to care for and nurture it. We are failing in doing so; we live as we have a plethora of other planets to dwell upon. Generation after generation we deface our planet and soon we won 't have a planet to call home at all. Yesterday is gone but tomorrow has yet to come, the future is in our hands. Our race being called to protect our earth against all opposition, however we are the source of its greatest adversary; global warming. The greenhouse gas effect is a subject that is being dismissed as a hoax and has been insufficiently acknowledged as a serious problem. It impacts the worlds environment, inhabitants, and economy.

Global warming is a powerhouse when it comes to destroying our environment and the affects are only becoming more profound as the days go on. "Global warming occurs when carbon dioxide (CO2) and other air pollutants collect in the atmosphere and absorb sunlight and solar radiation that have bounced off the earth’s surface. Normally, this radiation would escape into space—but these pollutants, which can last for years to centuries in the atmosphere, trap the heat and cause the planet to get hotter"(Global Warming 101). The influences of this can be slow but detrimental to our environment such as rises in temperature, extreme wether events and a decrease in life and produce.
