Global Warming is an increase in the earth 's atmospheric and oceanic temperatures widely predicted to occur due to an increase in the greenhouse effect resulting especially from pollution. The Earth 's temperature is rising every year, between 1906 and 2005 the temperature rose 1.1 degrees to 1.6 degrees and has doubled in the last 50 years. The greenhouse gases are needed for human life on this earth, global warming is slowly taking out these gases and hurting the planet and the the human and wildlife. Since 1975 scientists and environmentalists have been studying global warming and the effects climate change has had on earth. Today we believe that the damage done to the ozone affects our wildlife and much more and we must be concerned what the earth will be like in another 100 years. The earth needs people to step in and help to preserve the ozone, or we may not know what is in for the future generations on this planet. Since the Industrial Revolution in 1970, carbon dioxide levels have increased nearly 38 percent as of 2009 and methane levels have increased 148 percent.
