As humans, we tend to be very ignorant. Words can be mixed up, stories can be translated differently, and everyone has different beliefs for certain issues. Information can be left out, and always has two sides to it. All of these flaws must be taken into consideration for any important issues, whether they are social, political, or economic issues. Global Warming is something that needs to be treated differently, because there are no two sides to it. There is an overwhelming amount of evidence that some choose to deny because it doesn’t exactly agree with their personal beliefs. Global warming is scientifically defined as a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth 's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants. The denying of the scientific actuality of global warming and climate change, just as the animals did not listen to Snowball, can ultimately lead to the destruction of a civilization. The most important thing to understand about Global Warming is that it is similar, yet different from Climate Change. Climate change as defined by Ruhf, is the analysis of accumulated weather data for long-term patterns and trends. Climate change is not an overnight process. The study of climate takes years to make scientific estimates because of the length of changes (Ruhf). This is what people who are skeptical of Global Warming need to understand. Climate…
