The average American sees or hears 3,500 or more advertising and marketing messages a day. That being said, businesses interact with customers every single day without customers even realizing it. While marketing companies look to get the customers ' attention, customers fail to realize that almost every time you do something there are ads. Today, we will go through, how the marketing industry is created and maintained, then we will talk about where marketing is operated and some of their tactics. We also will cover, how the industry of marketing from businesses to customers is help handle decision making, and also their competition, how they organize and how they deal with and handle change. In a global market, the industry has a broader target market. In an article called Strategic Global Marketing published by Jatusripitak, Somkid, Liam Fahey, and Philip Kotler states that “Because of computers and online shopping, it is now easier than ever to market on a global scale.” That being said, people from the United States can go online and see products advertised to them from all over the world. Marketing is easier than ever; online on the global scale, because they can choose their target market with keywords and people searching for things that are almost the same as the product. The global aspect of marketing has grown immensely over the past few decades because of online businesses. There are always advertisements being marketed to you every time your online, whether it 's ebay, google or watching a video on YouTube, if you look to the side there most likely is an advertisement being shown. This shows that businesses can market to the consumers easier than ever. With global marketing their are also a lot of exports on many countries which helps grow the economy. Global marketing is usually used when there is a much larger target market ( a group of people who are aimed at a product or service) for a product such as a beverage or a household good. To summarize global marketing, the style has changed over the years with computers coming into play, because now they don 't have to necessarily go to the other country to have people see their ad, such as a billboard from Japan about an American product, instead they can go online and stay back in the offices and market to the Japan consumers, without ever leaving work. Also most marketing industries tend to stay domestically in their country. An article called Domestic Competitive Strategies by David Stewart states, “ The domestic strategy determines the overall performance of the market performance.” To summarize the article it basically says
