They work together to successfully make the Apple I Personal Computer. Many years Later more and more products have emerged from their headquarters located in Cupertino, California. Ever since in launched it has donated over 78 million dollars to local charities, food banks, nonprofits, and those in need all around the globe( “Why CSR? The Benefits Of Corporate Social Responsibility Will Move You To Act.”). This program basically gets employees to know their environments and those who live around them who are in need. This will give them a global perspective of the world they are living in and not taking anything for granted. In 2015, Apple revised this program and gave volunteers the right to choose the programs that they wish to volunteer for(“Apple Corporate Social Responsibility”). Some employees prefer different activities that they enjoy than others. Apple is one that takes this topic very seriously and does everything in their power to make sure their employees wellness comes first. Safety throughout the business should always be an organizations top priority. Employees health should always come first because no job is worth permanent mental/physical damage to yourself or others. Apple has created an 18 month program called Apple Supplier EHS Academy that’s overall goal is to improve employee’s health and safety throughout the globe. This company also believes in gender equality and minorities. Most of the jobs held in the company are by females. In 2016, Apple finally reached their goal of having equal pay no matter what gender or minority you are(“Apple Corporate Social Responsibility”). Your pay shouldn’t be based on your Gender or your age; it should be based on your job experience and education. Too many companies show favoritism and have a very poor performance management system.
