TITLE
Teenagers often acquire seven hours of sleep each night when they should be getting at least nine. This is due to numerous reasons, some being the average afterschool workload being too heavy, and the after school activities such as sports or clubs being too demanding. Or are the start times for school simply too early? With students balancing homework, extracurriculars, jobs and the effects of a growing body, Glenwood High School’s start time needs to be delayed to 8:40 a.m. to allow students to get more sleep.
