Glenn Herbert Gould was a famous Canadian pianist, organist, conductor and composer. He was born and raised in Toronto Canada. He was born on September 25, 1932 and died on October 4, 1982 at the age of fifty years old. He came from a musical family. His father was an amateur violinist and his mother was a pianist who also played the organ. Gould started playing the piano when he was five years old. He also began to compose and play his own composition to his family and friends when he was 5. His mother was his only teacher until he was ten. When he was six years old, he was taken to his first live musical performance which was Josef Hoffmann’s last appearance in Toronto Canada. Josef Hoffmann was also a famous pianist at that time.
