Glendale Community College’s resources provides assistance for anyone in need. In 1965,Glendale Community College was founded, and it was the second formed Maricopa Community College District in the west valley. There were 1,974 students enrolled for liberal arts at the new campus. By September the following year the college had acquired 147-acre campus and obtained 226 majestic palm trees. The GCC mascot- (Gaucho) is well known, even tho the original symbol was lost in the college’s early history. The campus has now been around for 50 years and it will be around for more years to come.
