A person that was born in 1706, has numerous jobs like being an author, politician, musician, inventor librarian an editor diplomat, statesman and even is one of the founding fathers of the United States. The person is more commonly known for designing the first Glass Harmonica and for opening the first ever public library. The person is none other than Benjamin Franklin, which is the person that I'm inviting to a dinner party. Of course, since I'm inviting him to have dinner there will a variety of foods waiting to be eaten. For desserts, there will be blueberry pie because it was quite popular in the 1700s, which was the year that Benjamin was born. I would propose this question because it will be captivating see what sparked the idea in the inventor's head to construct the Glass Harmonica. The second question that I would ask him is how did people respond to the first public library that you built? I would ask this question to him since no one has ever seen anything like this type of structure before. Additionally, the dinner party will have some entertainment, for instance, there will be checkers since it is acknowledged that Benjamin is very affectionate of the game. There will also be chess, because Benjamin appreciates the game of chess, because it teaches about preparation, as he famously said, “Chess teaches foresight, by having to plan ahead and by having to keep watch over the whole chessboard’. But since this is a dinner party there will also be decorations. To begin with, there will be candles to light up the darkened sections of the room, since Benjamin did work in his family’s candle making shop. There will additionally be Miniature Boston flags all throughout the room, and the tablecloth will be green and yellow because those are Benjamin's two favorite …show more content…
