This process was very painful, which she repeated a couple of times. By 9:00 a.m., my midwife decided to speed up the birth process by popping my water bag. She told me that in 30 to 40 minutes I should be giving birth; however, this did not happen. To make matters worse, she kept injecting me medicine to numb the pain of the contraction, yet I still felt the pain which continued on to 9:00 p.m. I was getting worried that the baby was drying up inside due to the delayed delivery. When another midwife came in to check me, she realized why I am not giving birth yet. She told me that my baby did not turn as expected so she was not properly positioned to come out naturally. By this time, I was in labor for more than 10 hours. They called the doctor right away and rushed me to the operating room while explaining that I will have to give birth by caesarian section. They gave me anesthesia which left me numb all over and immediately begin with the surgery. Even though I didn’t feel any pain, I could feel some sensation like someone was writing on my belly. A few minutes after, I heard my baby’s first cry. I gave a sigh of relief as I knew the baby was ok. The nurse took the baby
