Givers are the most valuable people in a culture. Grant states, “So you need to protect the givers in your midst.” Grant is trying to explain that we need to take precautions to protect the givers. Further, I understand that we could protect givers by simply recognizing someone’s work that has gone unnoticed. This quote supports my opinion because if we don’t protect or givers they might become burned out. For instance at work we are all givers and we get tired till our boss recognizes our hard work with words of encouragement, raises, and food parties.

Grant states, “If you want to build a culture of successful givers, is to be thoughtful about who you let onto your team.” Grant is trying to explain that we need to take into consideration of who we let into our culture or environment. Further, I understand that need to be careful who we let into our culture or environment. This quote supports my opinion because if we let the wrong person on our team it could damage our culture. At work we hire people all the time but sometimes we hire the wrong person and it slows down our rate of time that which we put out our food as well as our customer
