A quote by Brela Delahoussaye, “When children are raised seeing their parents love each other in a respectful, trustful and positive manner, they have a much better chance at having the same relationship with their future spouse.” This shows how big of an impact/influence parents are to their children because they follow their parent’s example, not their advice. In fact, each of their words and movements has an effect on them. For instance, fathers who is an alcoholic, would more likely to follow his steps despite his advice to not turn out like him. Another example is when parents undergo a divorce. I think that is the hardest situation a child has to go through especially at a young age. Even though the parents stays on good terms, a child will always crave the feeling of having a complete family. It eventually makes them believe that there’s no such thing as true love and can’t keep a long term relationship. Children and parents should have a special relationship with each other as it will have an effect on the child’s life.
