Give 3 Reasons Why Summer Is Great

Decent Essays
Sir,

First, Harry enthusiastically told me about portions of the book Mr. Sunny is Funny. Harry wanted to reread chapters one and two because it had been a week since he had read them by himself.

Harry had encountered two phrases and two words he did not know. They were yanking my chain (p. 9), on the safe side (p. 10), slowpoke (p.11), and parasailing (p.11).

He also mispronounced the following words: blond, whistle, (p. 12), parachute (p. 11) and replied (p. 15). We talked about the correct pronunciation of each word. During his session, Harry also answered several questions about chapters 1-3.

Tyler’s oral response to “Seven Kisses in a Row” demonstrates multiple weaknesses and strengths. One of Tyler’s weaknesses is that instead of using decoding to figure out the word “spangles” she as an alternative uses a rhyming word to try and understand the meaning. Tyler infers the word ‘spangle’ is close to the word “bangle” due to its rime. She does not try and use clues around the word such as the terms “eat and booties”. One of Tyler’s strengths is that she really understands the inferential meaning of the text.…

It was a cold and crisp night on the beach off the coast of Dunkirk. Harry lay in the sand in a pair of new clothes that didn’t sit quiet right on his body. It was better than his waterlogged clothes from the day prior and so he wasn’t one to complain. He could hear the sounds of men, groaning in pain or screaming in agony, fighting for space in whatever boat was available, when one would come. Everyone was dying around them.…

Over the 17 years, Tally went through garage sales, bookstores, and libraries, all to be left on the counter waiting for someone new to take her. Tally was a large red book that had a long pen mark down the middle of her cover, her insides had small rips and tears, and creases that most didn’t like.…

For instance, there will be a lot of days where it is more on the cool side, so people will want to wear a long sleeve shirt and maybe some pants.
