A giraffe’s habitat is in africa, usually they roam around in tall grasses and open planes. They can also survive in woodlands, giraffes will move to anywhere they can find food. Their home range is between 8 and 50 square miles, their natural habitat seems to be shrinking due to humans building roads. Their habitat is getting smaller and smaller leading them to going back to the same feeding areas before it has really had a chance for adequate food sources to grow again. Giraffes seem to roam around in hot areas and wide open spaces to allow them see for a great distance. The giraffe’s habitat needs to be one that allows them to move around freely.

When a giraffe is first born they usually rest by laying down and that’s why they’re so easy to prey.
