When we think of tailored suits, cigars, fedoras, and tommy guns, the first thing that tends to come to mind are the powerful and notorious mobsters of the 1920’s. Who held the title to be the most notorious and powerful of all mobsters during that time period is highly debatable to some, but clear to others that Charles “lucky” Luciano's early life of mugging, shoplifting, and extortion had prepared him for his long life of criminal activity that was in store for him. From grade school fights to ordering hits on the most deadliest men of the century to earn a bigger reputation, Luciano was always willing to do anything to get what he wanted and what separated him from others is that he was a “self-made” man.
