I wish I could write about the Gines Vivancos who stars in my dreams and fantasies.
If only my name could consist of my name followed by terms such as athlete, master worker, champion, genius, and prince charming. Sadly, these claims would be quite inaccurate. My dreams, however, take their place alongside my memories, my experiences, and my aspirations of who I am and want to be. Who am I? I am a product of all the decisions I have taken in my life. Nevertheless, I am still in the process of becoming a full grown person and personality. I think this goes perfectly with

My grades, much to my joy, are as good as they can be. I have surrounded myself with a group of amazing friends and intellectuals that drive me to improve every single day. Moreover, and thanks to the hundreds of hours I spent volunteering, I have become an employee of the incredible non-profit that is Shake-a-Leg Miami. The simple act of filling a child with a disabilities’ day up to the brim with happiness and joy is what gives essence and spirit to my own life. Leaving the psychological aspect behind, I have recently completed my third Olympic triathlon (after countless hours of practice and sweat). All of these grand achievements are a product of my hard work and …show more content…
I envision my signature to be a bit unconventional. What I mean by this is simple, yet incredibly meaningful to me. I want my signature to be my shadow. We also remember people for the type of person they were and what they took through life with them. Recently, I read “The Last Lecture” by author Randy Pausch. Paush has terminal cancer, and he tries to find a way to leave behind a legacy for his children and the world.…

At some point in time in their development, most people encounter an adult figure, who instills a positive change in their lives. This passion of mine as well as her continual support has carried me through the difficulties of my grandfather’s death, my parents’ divorce, and other strenuous circumstances including the end of her time as my coach. Her presence in my life has truly altered my life for the better.…

“Oh, Jesus”! I shrieked out as the knife slid through my skin as I endlessly hacked away at the gobs of raw chicken breast I was preparing for tomorrow morning. My face began to pale and every part of my body seemed to go numb, except my mind. Working overtime, my body trailed off into thought, deeming the injury at hand trivial and obsolete. I put the summer before my junior year of high school into perspective.…
